Lebanese are waking up

This character appeared twice before, but he took his final form in a CHARLIE ABDO cartoon, in Arabic.

I quite like him, with his red shirt and raised finger. He is actually the opposite of the characters featured in the "Somewhere in Beirut" series (and its french version: "Quelque part à Beyrouth"). The latter characters are somewhat a caricature of the Beiruti bourgeoisie, snob, cynical and blasée. While this character is more of a young leftist, a sort of lebanese indignados.

I’m sure you’ll be seeing him again!
