Whose fault is it, Saudi Arabia or Iran?

We talk to them about the Lebanese people, they answer us with “Saudi Arabia and Iran”.

What does Saudi Arabia have to do with the water shortage? How is it Iran’s fault if there’s no electricity? Did Saudi Arabia stop collecting the trash? Did Iran forbid anyone from recycling? Is Saudi Arabia or Iran bidding to make money out of our garbage? Is it a Saudi decision to take away our social security beyond a certain age? Or is it by Iranian decree that the Lebanese are kept in hopeless poverty?

If Saudi Arabia supports and finances a political group and Iran another, it is surely not to keep water, electricity, social security or jobs from us. And it is surely not to turn Lebanon into an open dumpster.

It’s too easy to put the blame on others, but the only responsible for Lebanon’s current situation are March 8 and March 14 politicians. And if Saudi Arabia and Iran could find less crooked people to sponsor, I’m sure they will not hesitate. After all, who is stupid enough to keep spending money on politicians despised by their own people?

Ironically, it seems like Saudi Arabia, Iran and the Lebanese people are equally stuck with this rotten political establishment!
