Heartbreaking images of the terrorist attacks against churches in Egypt

What’s left to say? Two terrorist attacks on Coptic churches in Egypt on Palm Sunday, many people killed and many more wounded, yet no decent live coverage on most major news channels and no international outcry, as if Arab christian lives don’t matter.

“At least 32 people have been killed in two bomb attacks targeting two Egyptian churches packed with Palm Sunday worshippers”, The Independent wrote. “The first attack took place in the Mar Girgis [St Georges] church in the Nile Delta town of Tanta, north of Cairo, killing 26 and wounding 71. Later, a second blast in front of a church in Alexandria killed six people and wounded 66, the health ministry said.”

“Eyewitnesses to Sunday's blast described a scene of carnage”, Reuters reported. "There was a huge explosion in the hall. Fire and smoke filled the room and the injuries were extremely severe. I saw the intestines of those injured and legs severed entirely from their bodies," Vivian Fareeg told Reuters by phone. "There was blood all over the floor and body parts scattered," said another Christian woman who was inside the church.”

Below: one of the blasts recorded by a CCTV camera. The second video was recorded after the blast. Warning: Graphic content. I usually avoid sharing footage with graphic and disturbing content. But today, with most international news channels treating these terrorist attacks as some minor incidents - as if Arab christian lives just don't matter - these images need to be seen and shared.

I apologize, but I have no words left to carry on writing and properly express my sorrow and my anger.
