Their only purpose is to distract us. To keep us busy with divisive issues. To stop us from focusing on the essential: the theft of the country and the destruction of the Lebanese State.
They act all arrogant and self-confident, but in truth they’re terrified of us. They’ll come up with anything to stop us from uniting against them.
So let them ban any silly movie they want. Let them pass any nefarious law they want. Let them argue and fight among themselves as much as they want. Because these things don’t really matter. Because nothing they do truly matters. Not in the long run. Because they’re on their way out. They know it, and they’re trying desperately to delay the inevitable.
Obviously, it’s not going to happen tomorrow, or the day after. But it’ll happen sooner than you think.
They are on their way out of the country for some, on their way in to jail for others, or on their way to whatever hell there is.
Soon, Lebanon will be free of them. Cleansed and cured from them. And us, the Lebanese people, will have the difficult task of building a proper State with proper institutions, a true representative democracy, and a Lebanon we can all be proud of.
In the meantime, I urge you, don’t fall into their traps.
